What Does it Mean for Me? Georgia's Education Requirement for Public Retirement System Trustees

A trustee appointed or elected on or after July 1, 2019 will now be required to complete a minimum of 8 hours of education within one year of becoming a new trustee. Trustees appointed or elected before July 1, 2019, or who have served one or more years, will need to complete a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education every two years
